Mike Knapp Solo Art ExhibitWATERWORKS Solo art Exhibit: Art of Mike Knapp. Now through July 16
Mike Knapp has been an artist instructor at Pinot's Palette Brandon from the opening in February 2014. We are pleased to announce his art exhibit, WATERWORKS, open to the public, at Bamboozle Café in downtown Tampa.
Bamboozle Cafe, located at 516 N. Tampa, Street, Tampa, will feature the art of Mike Knapp, in his solo show, WATER WORKS, June 18-July 16, 2016. The opening reception is planned for Tuesday, June 21 , between 6-9 pm featuring complimentary appetizers, wine and tea tasting. Mike studied art at HCC and USF and is a current resident in the Riverside community of Temple Terrace. Mike’s home location endorses his love of water and his artful portrayal of the means by which this valuable commodity enters all our lives.
While visiting in Baltimore he “became fascinated with large water pipes and huge valves that exist everywhere with no one even noticing. My goal is to meld myself with the subject matter in such a way as to become a single thought in someone’s mind when they see that object.” Once you see his artwork you will be amazed at the connection that you develop with his subject matter. You will never look at everyday objects the same way again. Mike’s colorful and detailed portrayals are a testament to his love of everyday objects. In WATERWORKS Mike creates fresh artful visions in unexpected ways on the usually hidden means by which water exists in our lives.
Bamboozle Cafe is open Mondays-Fridays, 10:30-9pm, Saturdays 11-9pm, and is closed on Sundays. The menu reflects healthy and delicious Southeast Asian cuisine including a wide variety of rice wrapped rolls, Banh Mi, Pho Soups, Noodle Salads and delectable desserts.
