It's Mid-Winter Recess! Come into the studio to get creative -- it's one of our favorite times of the year! This Winter we have so much's out and so are the brushes! Camp is T-FRI and geared to ages 6-15 years old. 5 and under would not be appropriate for camp days unless a parent, guardian or sitter stayed for one-to-one supervision and paint assistance.

Camp starts at Noon with the doors opening at 11:45am. Pick up is at 4:00pm Tuesday-Friday. Pizza lunch on Tuesday with bagged lunches W-FRI

Cost for this 4-day camp is $200 and each day includes a game, craft and painting.
*Price includes all activities, a snack and drink, complimentary water all day and a pizza lunch on TUESDAY ONLY. Bring bagged lunch in lunch bag with ice pack Wed-Friday. Nut-free lunches are preferred to be sensitive to those with allergies.

Camp Payment and Program Policies:
We accept Cash, Master Card, Visa, Discover and Amex. Must-pre enroll.
Payment must be made in full at the time of registration. Discounts are not available for camp days/weeks or multiple siblings. Register per painter.

Camp is geared to ages 6-15 years old. Age 5 with an adult present to assist. Under 5 is not appropriate for these classes.

Policy Week Long Camp Refunds:
A full refund or class credit can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 11 days before the start of camp. Cancellations requested at least 10 days before the start of camp are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Loss of payment will occur if no notification occurs, or if notification is received less than 10 days prior to camp start.
All registrations for camp must be received 48 hours prior to camp start to ensure a safe, fun experience for all children.

Transfer requests received at least 11 days before the start of camp will be honored based on availability. Transfer requests made with at least 10 days before camp start are subject to a $30 transfer fee. Loss of payment will occur for incidental daily absences.

Pinots Palette Bay Shore is not an accredited state camp and does not have a nurse on staff to administer drugs or epi-pens; these are half-day art enchainment classes. Adults are welcome to stay at the facility if there are health or medical concerns. Babysitters are also welcome. If your child is left as a drop-off, you will be asked to provide an emergency contact number. Upon any medical emergency, 911 will also be called.

Please label your child’s belongings and any snacks/drinks. We do not have a refrigerator to keep lunch bags; any snacks should be sent with an ice pack. We cannot accept responsibility for forgotten belongings, but will leave any lost objects at the bar during the week of camp for your inquiry. Direct any questions to:

When attending daily camps $55 day rate (instead of an entire week) our normal refund and transfer policy applies:
Pinot's Palette cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before class start (exception for Project Pet or specialty classes that require pre-work or pre-printed materials.) You can also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date or transfer the reservation to another class. However, in transfers are subject to having availability and supplies in surplus to accommodate. Every effort will be made. Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs or if notification occurs less than 24 hours prior to class start. This cancellation policy applies to parties of 2 or less. For cancellation of a party of 3 or more, a minimum of one week's notice is required for a refund or to reschedule.

    Yes we will continue to offer virtual parties and take home kits even now that we are open! For your reference, please find a description and associated pricing for each option. Video-on-demand Art Kits are: $30 per kit and include a step-by-step two hour video tutorial. To watch the video is simple, you can utilize your phone, an ipad, computer or even display on a smart TV. Your video access is good for 7 days from the time of pick-up.   • Yes our studio is OPEN! COVID-19 New Safety Precautions & Regulations: What you want to know...

    At Pinot’s Palette in Bay Shore we take the safety of all of painting guests very seriously. Meeting all CDC and state regulations here is what you should know... Inquire at: with any questions. In-Studio Safety Procedures: • Hand Sanitizer for all guests upon entry and at every station. • Masks required for entry, in all common areas and in restrooms, when you are seated, sipping or snacking in your seat you can feel free to relax and remove your mask. • Of course you can choose to wear masks the entire time, and always feel free to step outside during class. • We are not using the same brushes or water cups in the same week (once a week usage). All materials are sanitized after every use, as well as all counter tops and all surfaces. • We have fresh paper down on all tables for each new paint class. • We have disposable aprons instead of cloth for your preference. • Brush sets are also available for purchase at $30, or you can feel free to bring in your own brushes from home/if you have from take home kit etc. • Our studio has a wall of window, we open when AC is not in use to circulate air. • Entire team in masks or face shields when teaching, including bartender with plexiguard by register. • We encourage credit cards and tabs instead of cash for less handling of money between guests. • 6 feet Social Distancing between unique parties/guests. • 6 foot stickers within the entire studio to mark bathroom line or bar standing placement. • Overall reduced studio occupancy.   • Do you offer kids parties? What ages?

    Yes we offer little brushes paint parties for ages 6-15 years old. 16+ is considered an adult. You can request a pdf of party pricing and information and inquire about your date and time by emailing or calling 631.446.4777 Best time to reach us is M-Fri 9-4pm. 2-hour paint parties are $35 per child including 1.5 slices of pizza and unlimited juice/soft drink selections/complimentary water (in-studio or virtual options) with a required minimum of 12 children. $35 includes all taxes and fees, does not include gratuity at your discretion, recommended 20% gratuity. Have less painters? You can certainly host a kid’s party with less than 12 kids as long as the minimum fee for 12 kids is paid or ask about hosting a party within a public class or purchasing $30 video take home kits to host your own at-home paint party! 48 hours prior to your party you will provide us with your final headcount for pizza!   • Where are you located?

    We are on the beautiful South Shore of Long Island in Bay Shore. Our address is 61 West Main Street, Bay Shore NY 11706 about 50 feet west of the Bay Shore YMCA Boulton Theater (the first right you can make after the theater) and across the street from Peninsula Chinese and Japanese Restaurant. PARKING: We have a huge lot right along our studio, spots with numbers in them require the meter to be fed. Spot with no numbers in them are FREE PARKING spots. So park one or two rows back and enjoy free parking while you paint. Note: we are just off of main street (on the side street) directly behind the new Salt & Barrel Oyster Bar/Restaurant aka Park Ave, so if you are looking for us up and down Main, please do not we are technically on the side street.…We have plenty of parking right behind our studio. This location has ton of wonderful bars and restaurants that you can walk to before or after your Pinot's paint class, so get ready for a wonderful day or evening. If you don't find parking on main street there is a HUGE parking lot directly behind our studio. Nearby Landmarks On the beautiful south shore, located 50 ft. west of the Bay Shore Boulton Theater (your first right after the theater).   • What is your reservation / reschedule policy?

    All Reservation Seat Sales are Final. Transfers into a future class on our calendar (including Virtual or Take Home Kits) are allowed when calling 48 hours in advance of your scheduled class otherwise All Reservation Seat Sales are Final. As our staff is secured based on the number of completed reservations, and to allow for accurate assessment of future reservations for interested painting guests all sales are deemed final upon purchase. In the case of an emergency/when calling or emailing ( 48 hours in advance of your class, guests may be transferred into another class on our Bay Shore calendar. When transferring into a class of a lower value the difference will be refunded back to your card. When transferring into a class of higher value please call 631.446.4777 as your credit card number is not kept on file for your protection and security. We do not offer refunds, nor transfers, for no-show reservations (or with same-day or next-day notice). Sorry no exceptions. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, due to inclement weather or other circumstances, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date and guests will be notified by the phone/email noted on their reservation and a class cancellation notice will be listed on our website at If an event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, the choice of a refund or credit will be issued to the registered guest(s). Any credit issued will be valid for 60 days from the original ticket purchase date and valid on take home kits and virtual classes. In the rare case of extreme emergency as in death, sickness, Covid/travel required quarantines, any refund honored made is minus any applied discounts and $5 for credit card processing and transaction fee per order or $10 for orders with groups reserved for 5 or more guests.
