Are my friends and family allowed to come and watch?

If your friends and family would like to come to the class we encourage that they participate in the fun. However if they rather sit and watch a seat will still need to be purchased for them. Kinda like the movies, you cant go and watch without a spot for yourself.

What is Pinot's Palette?

Pinot's Palette is Arnold's premiere paint and sip destination. We have an upscale studio with 2 rooms that can accommodate public classes and private events at the same time. You come to us for an entertaining evening where you create a painted masterpiece and memories with friends, family, and co-workers. Pinot's Palette is truly the place to Paint. Drink. Have Fun.

Is Pinot's Palette Arnold locally owned?

Yes. Pinot's Palette is a national franchise however, each location is locally owned and operated. The owners of this location live right here in your home town of Arnold.

Where in the shopping center are you located?

We are located between Cato and Papa Murphy's.

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy! Click the "Event Calendar" link on the main menu to view our upcoming events. Select the date you would like to attend, add the quantity, and click "Add to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Please contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

What is the pricing for the painting classes?

Public parties are $35 per painter for 2 hour sessions and $45 per painter for 3 hour sessions. Contact us regarding pricing for private parties. Special pricing for special events may occur.

Are we allowed to bring in our own wine?

We do not allow outside alcohol into the studio. We have a nice variety of wines to choose from. Whether you prefer a red or a white. We also have domestic beers to choose from along with sodas and water.

Are drinks included in my reservation?

No. The purchase of your spot includes materials needed for the painting. However, we provide a variety of reasonably priced wine and beer to choose from.

What do I need to bring to the class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. You are welcome to bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverages to the class, as well as any appetizers you might want. We also provide the plates, napkins, and silverware.

Are we allowed to bring snacks to our painting class?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring snacks for your group. We have plates, utensils and napkins for your use.

Is there reserved seating?

YES, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice). *Private Parties do not have assigned seating.

When do I need to arrive for the class?

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before the party and instruction starts to allow time for you to get settled in, drinks poured, food served, and mingle with friends.

I have no artistic talent. Is this for me?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.

Is there an age limit for the public classes?

Yes. Public classes have the following requirements: 6+ at specific Family Day or Kids Paintings only. 13 yrs and up are allowed at all public classes with attendance of adult.

Do you host fundraisers?

Yes, we take pride in helping the community. If you are interested in learning more about our Painting It Forward events and donations, please contact the studio and ask to speak to our Donations Coordinator.

When does next month's calendar get posted?

We post the next month's calendar on the 15th of the month. If you'd like to receive an email each month when our new calendar is posted, be sure to add yourself to our email list to be one of the first to know!

What is the cancellation policy for public classes?

Pinot's Palette public party cancellation policy is as follows: A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs at least 48 hours before class start. You can also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date. The reservation can be put on hold to sign up and attend another class if notification is received at least 24 hours before class start. Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs or if notification occurs less than 24 hours prior to class start. This cancellation policy applies to parties of 2 or less. For cancellation of a party of 3 or more, a minimum of five days notice is required for a refund or to reschedule. Our specialty Project Pet class requires a week notice to receive refund due to preparation of materials.

What is the cancellation/reschedule policy for inclement weather?

If we are still holding class as usual, our normal cancellation policy still applies. However, if the weather makes it impossible or uncomfortable for you to drive to our studio the day of your reservation, please notify us via email or phone at least 4 hours prior to class start time and we will transfer your reservation to a future class on our current calendar. If you wish to not choose a future class, you will receive a class hold credit for 1/2 the amount of the seat purchase price to be used at a later date. Failure to let us know 4 hours prior to class start time will result in the loss of payment. Most extreme conditions - If winter weather causes us to cancel class, we will post it on our Facebook page and on the website event calendar. You will be notified by email as well. You will have the option to receive a class hold credit or have your reservation transferred to a future class on our current calendar. Refunds will not be issued either way. What if we are running late?

- All attendants arriving more than 15 min. past the starting time are considered no shows and will not be offered a refund. You are welcomed to stay and try to catch up on your own but the instructor will not be able to back up to the beginning as that will put the whole class behind.
